Sports Medicine and Foot Orthotics

Activities like running, backpacking and rock climbing put increased strain on our lower extremities. And ailments such as Achilles tendinitis, neuromas, and plantar fasciitis are common. Proper training, appropriate footwear, and foot orthotics when indicated are integral to maintaining an active lifestyle.

Wound Care & Preventative Medicine

Dr. Hewchuck combines modern and time-tested treatments for lower extremity wounds. Preventative care for diabetics and non-diabetics at risk is also available. Whether you have a chronic foot ulceration or just need routine nail and callous trimming, our clinic is equipped to take care of you.

Foot and Ankle Trauma

Due to the complexity of the foot and ankle, certain injuries may be overlooked or become chronic. Whether an acute fracture or an older, nagging sprain, Dr. Hewchuck has three decades of experience in successfully managing foot and ankle injuries.

Diabetic Limb Salvage and Infectious Disease

Lower extremity infections are common – from athletes foot and plantar warts to bone infections and limb threatening lower extremity infections. Dr. Hewchuck utilizes current IWGDF and IDSA guidelines to manage infectious disease of the foot and ankle.
